Mini Haul: New Look and hmv

I thought I'd share with you a few things I bought recently or rediscovered!

New Look:

I picked up this jumper, It's super cosy. I liked the floral print and the blue colour and I think the crochet shoulders dresses it up a little and adds interest. £16.99

This bag was a 'have to have it' purchase. I needed a smaller handbag and wear a lot of navy, I love the tassels too. I actually saw this a couple of weeks ago in the window and loved it, I looked around and couldn't see it so I asked the assistent and there was only one left in the back, it was fate! £12.99

I picked up three pairs of socks for £4 because I was in need. Sorry, I'm wearing the other pair but they are really cute and fun.

Also, something I wanted to share with you that I've recently rediscovered was a phone case I bought back
in the summer from hmv for £9.99. I tend to swap my phone cases quite often but normally go for the cheaper variety on ebay. I'm happy I found this again as it's good quality and has been admired by lots of my friends. I love the telephone box picture as it's so typically British!

What's in my Travel Make Up Bag?

So I'm back home from Uni for a few days and I thought I'd share what's in my 'travel' make up bag.

I start with my Nivea Express Hydration Primer for Dry /Sensitive skin and skip the moisturizing step, I then use my sample size Benefit The Pore-fessional.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Porcelain: This is a little light for me but I love the coverage and formula, I currently blend it with the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in Ivory as that's a little darker but a thicker consistency. The two together make a flawless finish that matches me better.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light: Loving this at the moment, especially with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Peach Glow. I finish off with my Rimmel Blusher in Santa Rose.

Next is my MUA Professional Eye Primer then I packed my MUA trio in Chocolate Box to save me packing a palette, these three are lovely neutral brown and peachy shades. Then my trusty Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara.

I then have my Lush Sweet Lips Lip Scrub, because I can't live without it, and a twist up lipbalm from Flava Craze in Grape to save the mess.

Then, just because I like choice, I packed my Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 16, and my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in Honey and Lovesick.

No prizes for guessing my favourite 'drugstore' brand!

The brushes I packed were Ecotools eyeshadow, concealer and brush brush, Real techniques Stippling brush and some tweezers!

And that all fits nicely into my make up bag! Do you have any of these items in your make up bag?

Valentines Day NOTD

Inspired by FleurdeForce in this nail tutorial, I recreated it for V day!

I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I used Sally Henson Double Duty as a base coat, Essie 'We're in this together' which has a nice shimmer to it. I then used white and red nail art pens and No7 Top Coat.

If you're interested, I spent this valentines day a little differently this year by going speed dating with a couple of friends, it was such good fun! It was something I always wanted to do and I can now tick it off my 101 things list. It was really nice to meet to meet new people and everyone was surprisingly easy to talk to for 2 and a half minutes.

February Wishlist

I'm back with another wishlist!

Ted Baker Orchid washbag £29: Isn't this so pretty?! I love the new Ted Baker handbag, purse and ipad case range.

Ted Baker Bird iPhone Case £14.70: I struggle to spend money on iPhone cases as there are so many cheap ones out there but I should really invest in a sturdy pretty one (I love this one in pale pink but can only find it for sale in black).

Paul's Boutique Bird Purse £27: I've had my eye on this for a while too, loving all the bird prints.

Bare Minerals Foundation £25: I've been wanting to try a powder foundation as I think the finish is nice and it's quicker and easier to apply.

Personal Planner £14.99- £19.99: I love these as you can personalize so many elements, I'm always on the search for the perfect diary, I'm just sad I found these after the new year. I may have to get an academic year one.

PediPro £19.99: Not a very glamorous want but I really need to sort my feet out!

What's on your wishlist this month?
Thanks for reading x

John Greed Valentine's Day Blogger Challenge

This Valentine's day John Greed are giving one blogger the chance to win their Valentine's day jewellery wishlist to the value of £250 and four runners up a £25 gift card.
I scowled the whole site and picked out my favourites here.

Thomas Sabo silver and pearl charm bracelet: I love pearls and the natural uneven finish to these is so pretty! Adds a little elegance to any outfit.

Thomas Sabo Peace Charm: I love the simplicity of this charm and it would look lovely on the pearl bracelet.  I love the meaning behind this, a reminder that life is good and fighting isn't important.

Pandora Liquid Silver Bubbles Drop earrings: I have the bubbles necklace already and would love some earrings to match!

Pandora Silver Blue Pearl Stud Earrings: I love the blue colour of these, they are so pretty for when drop earrings are too formal!

Silver and Swarovski Heart Necklace: This is so pretty and sparkly, this is currently free when you spend over £75 which I think is a great deal!

Pandora Silver and Sky Blue Enamel charm: I already have a pandora and think this is really pretty and great to add a little subtle colour. I already have this charm but with black mother of pearl and think a selection of different colours would like great together.

So those are my choices that come to a total of £244.85
