Today's polish is one of the Models Own polishes I got from the Clothes Show: Thunder & Lightening. This is a black polish with silver glitter suspended in it.
Having been very impressed with Models Own before, I have to say I wasn't quite as impressed with this one. Firstly, the polish isn't opaque as expected, even after two coats it still is more translucent that expected with a slight brown tinge.
Secondly, the polish remains tacky for a while resulting in smudging of my nails, I had to repaint some.
However, I love this colour and the overall effect is great for Christmas.
I love Model's Own but I find that with quite a few of the colours I have to apply generously so that I can achieve an opaque look. I think the Barry M 'Gold Mine' polish is similar to this and looks beautiful!
